Post-consumer plastic wastes
Following the popularization of resource recycling concept and the increasing international awareness of environmental protection, more environmental protection labels have been created to regulate the use of recycled plastics around the world. Apart from United Nation’s Basel Convention that regulates the export of hazardous plastic wastes, “Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives (GAIA)” was also established to end waste incineration and to promote sustainable waste prevention and management practices. Therefore, in order to stop the increase of plastic trash, it is a must to stop producing and disuse single-use package and to establish a reusable system. All post-consumer plastic wastes in life are within our goal. For example, waste electrical appliance, obsolete computer information products, card reader and some livelihood products. These things are usually thrown away when they are broken and then be buried or burned. To achieve resource sustainability, now we are doing our biggest effort to collect most of these wastes, break them down and then reconstruct them for reuse.
In the future, the percentage of renewable ingredients in a product will become a critical direction for all commodities. Major global brands also successively commit to reach a specific percentage of renewable ingredient when manufacturing their products. Therefore, our core objective is to recycle most of the post-consumer plastic wastes and then reconstruct and regenerate them.
